Best Turkey Season ever……………

[[Show as slideshow]]Turkey season came in April 7th for youth day and April 14th for the state!!!! My 11 yr old hunter on the 7th, bagged and tagged before 9am!!! My 2 hunters for Saturday the 14th were successful!! 1 was a newby and had never killed a bird!!!! We struggled early am, but prevailed at 330 pm!!! Other guy killed at 8 am…Had 2 hunters from MD for M-W…They bagged and tagged by Tues and went home early!!! A friend from Currituck came down and missed 4 turkeys in 2 days…. 2 with a bow, and 2 with a 12 gauge!!!! WOW is right!!!! Have had 2 more hunters since and they both killed as well!!! AWESOME YR SO FAR……..

We have been blessed with an abundance of Turkeys in Eastern NC… Lets keep it that way by following rules and regs and only taking your 2 birds a year!!!!! NC needs a HEN SEASON BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

North Carolina’s Spring Turkey Season is almost here!!! We are blessed with a month long season and a 2 bird bag limit.. Season opens April 14th, so dont wait too long to call!!!! Only a few spots left!!!!!

Duck Season is OVER……..

Duck season is finally over…. It was long and misserable!!!! Worst duck season on record for NC… T-shirts and mosquitos January 26th…..Unbeleivable temperatures!!!! Still managed to kill over 100 ducks…. Horrible!!!!!!!

Ballistic tip bullets not allowed at CWCO…..

After the last few weeks, my staff and I have decided not to allow ballistic tip bullets here anymore!!!! Over the last 7 years of business, we have lost over 2 dozen mountable Bucks due to Ballistic Tip bullets… Im sure shot placement probly wasnt perfect each time either, but either way, there is no exit hole using ballistic tip bullets…. THEY SUCK…. Had a guy just this morning shoot a giant deer at 25 yards people with a .308…. Deer ran 75 yds before we picked up blood and found 14 drops over 300 yrds and never found deer!!!!!! BALLISTIC TIP BULLETS SUCK……….DONT BRING THEM HERE……..WE WILL NOT LET YOU HUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hunters are starting to see signs of bucks chasing doe….Thats what we wait for all year!!!! Should see some good buck pictures here directly!!!!! Including this one we hope!!!!

Bow season ended today with another doe kill… Temps dropped dramatically, and muzzle-loader opens in the am… Were lookin foward to some BONE on the ground!!!

Hunting Season has Started

Bow season has kicked in…Dead Zone Outdoors TV is here with us this week!!! They have seen several nice bucks so far, but none in archery range… Hopefully they’ll have some horns on the ground by the end of the week… Mosqitos are freaking unbeleivable… Hunters are gettin eaten alive out there, even with Therma-Cells…. Deer are moving and feeding at night, and runnin crazy during the day… Hunters are watching deer running around in circles in the middle of feilds… Weirdest bow season in 10 yrs……..
